The new room is entirely dedicated to short game training. The key feature is the PuttView simulator, which, thanks to augmented reality, turns the green into an interactive educational platform. Guests also have access to a five-position driving range and over 150 m2 of chipping green with various types of grass.
The simulator reads and processes the ball's movement through the "planes" of sensors located right by the screen.
This system provides us with complete information about the ball's direction, distance, speed, and even rotation. These are crucial details for the golf player, indicating their technique and the effectiveness of their shots. The ball is hit from a traditional mat without any sensors, and the artificial grass simulates shots from bunkers and higher grass.
