We warmly invite you to join us on August 30-31, 2024, for another exciting event featuring horses in the spotlight. This time, we will be showcasing the magnificent Friesian Horses.

A Few Words About This Breed:

The Friesian horse breed dates back to Roman times and in the Middle Ages, it evolved into a strong, black horse often used as a war horse. Today, these stunning and expressive horses, known for their striking black coats, are highly admired.

Characteristics of the Friesian Horse:

• Head: Appropriately long; large, bright, and intelligent eyes; relatively small ears with tips slightly inclined toward each other; a slightly convex or straight profile, all contributing to a noble appearance.
• Neck: Proudly arched with a slightly swan-like profile, appropriately long, well-muscled, and set high.
• Body: Well-muscled and fairly long but not overly so; a slightly soft back is permissible. The body must be deeply connected with the chest, with slightly sloped shoulders and non-barrel-shaped ribs.
• Forelimbs: Straight, with a pastern sloped at a 45-degree angle to the ground, and spaced at hoof-width apart.
• Hind limbs: Long thighs, with hocks at a 150-degree angle, and pasterns sloped at a 55-degree angle to the ground.
